Backstory: What Inspired These Products?
We’ve been cooking simply for years but wanted to take the Minimalist Baker ethos to a whole new level and create products that simplify the cooking process even more.
Our products are so easy to use — just dump, stir, and bake. Because we know you’re busy and need simplicity (us, too!).
We also know how challenging it can be to find really good gluten-free (and vegan) food. Our products make a whole range of treats that are undetectably vegan and gluten-free, incredibly DELICIOUS, and SO EASY to create!
What Products are Available?
1:1 Gluten-Free Flour Blend
We knew we wanted to package our signature gluten-free blend because honestly, we’re tired of making it — ha! But also, we knew it could be even better.
After meticulous reformulation and testing, it’s now a versatile, effective, 1:1 replacement for all-purpose flour in your favorite recipes. We know it will be a staple in your kitchen just like it is in ours.
Unlike many gluten-free flour blends on the market, our blend has a higher ratio of wholesome whole grains and complex starches instead of being heavier in refined starches. The result is satisfying baked goods with structure that don’t sacrifice flavor!
Our blend works well in cakes, cookies, crackers, muffins, quick breads, flatbreads, pie crusts, as a breading or roux, and more. Need some inspiration? Try it in these 20+ tried and tested recipes.

What’s a celebration without cake? We knew we wanted to create an all-star chocolate cake that was vegan, gluten-free, and naturally sweetened. But was it possible? YES!
Presenting: The classic Chocolate Cake + Cupcake Mix of our DREAMS! This mix makes fluffy, moist, decadent chocolate cake and cupcakes that are undetectably gluten-free, vegan, and refined sugar-free.
The best part? It happens in 1 bowl: Just add water, oil, and vanilla, then whisk and bake. It’s perfect for special occasions, every day, and beyond! We can’t wait to show you how else to use this versatile mix!

Minimalist Baker started with pancakes, so it only felt right to launch our product line with a kick-ass pancake mix. It was destiny.
Our 1-bowl mix makes super fluffy pancakes + crispy waffles using wholesome ingredients. It’s magic!
Plus, it’s vegan, gluten-free, and naturally sweetened without sacrificing flavor. Use it to make breakfast or brunch a cinch, or make and freeze (for when you need a waffle from the freezer like now).

We’ll absolutely be continuing to create more :) You won’t see any changes there other than using the blend in some recipes (a few per month) and offering suggestions in the notes section for how to sub the DIY blend if you don’t want to/aren’t able to purchase the blend. What are the ingredients in the baking mix? Does it contain Almond Flour? I am interested in it but cannot eat Almond products due to allergies.
Hi Vicky, Our Pancake + Waffle Mix and Chocolate Cake + Cupcake Mix do contain almonds. Our Gluten-Free Flour does NOT contain any tree nuts. However, it is processed in a facility that also processes tree nuts. You can read the full ingredient lists by clicking the product photos on the shop page.
